Overview

To achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, we need to catalyze and scale business models that are aligned with sustainable development. Creating demand for purpose-driven enterprises in large supply chains is a powerful mechanism to do so. CARE was in partnership with Fourth Sector Group to conduct research on the cocoa value chain in Ghana broadly, and for-benefit enterprises within that context to identify the actors, challenges, and recommendation in the the current ecosystem.

design goals

Synthesized complex data and prioritized research insights into a holistic mapping diagram.

Challenges

One of our teams, CARE Consulting, reached out to ask for support to think through how best to visually capture a ‘two-layered’ picture of the cocoa value chain for their first deliverable for the Fourth Sector Group.
